personal GOALS

  1. The credit I'm mostly proud of would be algebra, because last semester i did really bad. I didn't earn credits and now I've earned 3 credits.
  2. I know that i could have improved in literacy and i did poorly i know I'm better than my grade and hours. Next semester i can really work on all my classes by coming to school every day and on literacy coming to school on time.
  3. One academic goal would really be coming to school, i need to stop saying "one day off school won't hurt", because now i can really see it does hurt me and my grades a lot.
  4. One of my overall goals i have for this upcoming year would be being a better person {friend, daughter}. My second overall goal would be that i can get to eleventh grade this upcoming year.
  5. My goal for my son in the next six months is, I'm going to help my son walk, he's six months right now so in the next six months he'll almost be one year and i hope he starts walking

NO! ON PROP 4

I strongly disagree with prop 4 I believe that if a minor decides to have an abortion, its for a reason, that she believes that shes not ready for a baby at that time of age in life. And sometimes when a parent finds out they don't want an abortion to be done or they do and just i believe in that the teenager has the decision. Sometimes the case is not that the teenager doesn't want the baby sometimes is that the girl got pregnant on purpose, maybe because she feels lonely or something and she wants something that loves her and only belongs to her, and when the parents find out there going to want an abortion to be done. So yes this is what i believe in prop 4, so i hope it votes for, NO! ON PROP. 4!!!

Life in Ancient Egypt

  • As a family member if you were a girl you either got married or were sent out to work as a wet nurse, servant, weaver, baker, musician, or a dancer.
  • If you were a boy you would be sent out even if you were married, if you wanted to be a soilder you'll be working in a fort.
  • If you were a boy you would start of by cleaning the soilders' weapons.
  • Some people sold themselves and their own children into slavery because it was the only way they could pay off their debts.
  • Pretty much children had to work hard if they wanted to eat.

The white men would say, " 'you shall not spare your body when you are young;food comes about by the hands, provision by the feet'. "

Dear Queen:

Well there are some things i would want you to take in consideration; First of all well our Governor is not fairly equally, we have many of our family members dying. One of the reasons this is will be because they're working us to death. Us the slaves are so unhappy and we need to put a stop to all this cruelty, we cant live like this, so here I'm sketching you some of the happenings here in our Island. You are our salvation, we are extremely scared of whats going to happen next. The governor torchurs us in the cruelest ways, we need and hope you do somehing regardings.

Expectations

Expectations I Have for myself in life:
I would expect myself to be a hard working succesful mother, a caring mother that will never unattend her child.

Expectations I Have for myself at school:
Well graduating will defenetly be one of my expectations, coming everyday to school and not late. I'd love to have a good expirience at Lindsay.

Expectations I have for students:
I would expect Lindsay students to know how to respect our teachers and other students, they should be mature enough for the simple fact that we are all young moms.

Expectations i have for my teachers:
I expect my teachers to go after students that dont listen, and especially if they are close to graduating.

Expectations I Have for my child:
I would have the best expectations for my little Danny, one of them is him knowing how to respect a lady in all the right ways.

Regarding My Child,
I would expect the nursery to treat my child with the upmost proper care and not frustuated ways.

#1 Writing with irregular verbs in simple past

This weekend i went to walk around the park, as i got there i got hungry so i ate. I took my little nephew with me, he hit me in my leg because he wanted to go home so early. My little nephew was running around everywhere. I told him "Stop". I built him sand castle in some wack sand that was there but he didn't like it so he started to cry. Later on carlitos {my nephew} had seen me get frustuated and so he gave me a hug and apoligized. We finally found his sweater he was really crying and winnig about, but i didn't know until he told me. As we were leaving he told me "Nancy can you buy me a lollypop like the one you bought me last week?" and so i did. Finally we got home and so i laid down and wrote a letter to my baby's dad thats in fresno, telling him how my day went with my nephew. I was more hungry so looked in the fridge and saw that my mom made some enchiladas so i had to have some so i just put it in the microwave and ate some. As i sat there eating my nephew said "Oooh can i have some?" so im like "Daim im still not threw with you?" and so he says "No!!!"

#2 DOL para jueves

B* He wondered who he was, why he was here, and what life is all about.

Well I didnt really got to read the whole book but i was here sometimes when Dawn would read it so I kinda do know whats it about. Well what I liked about this book would be is that is so realistic i mean theres not alot of guys that can relate to it because this guy was an honest kind but if anything girls can relate to it. As for the discussion that we had yesterday i thought it was really good too because well i got to know how other girls felt about this book and we got to discuss what we liked, what we understood, and why things happend. I think this book can really inspire many men out there that are parents because they'll just be shocked in knowing that belive it or not this guy really did took responsibility for his kid and he called himself a man because hes actually taking responsibility for their actions, and well thats how it should be if guys wanna be called a man. Well i just really liked the fact that Bobby wanted to take care of his lil girl, it just shows the soft spot of him. Bobby had the right to change his mind in n ot adopting his lil girl because if he would've, daim i probably would'nt like this book.
